Principle: The bigger your cup, the bigger God’s cup.

1st Application: If you budget and give 10% in 5 years or sooner, you will have to think about giving more.
“You will have more than you need to live on, or you will need less to live on.”
“Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us, your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.” 2 Corinthians 9:10-11
Principle: God changes you, which in turn changes your fruit.
2nd Application: If you budget and give 10% in 5 years, you will be amazed at God’s fruit of generosity in your ministry, marriage, parenting, wisdom, your generosity.
“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:8
Principle: God provides for his church through his people.
3rd Application: If you budget and give 10% in 5 years, your church will be impacting our community in ways you could never have dreamed of.
“You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.” 2 Corinthians 9:11-12
