Philippians 4:4-5
Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.

What to do instead:
Philippians 4:6
by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Turn to God
Bring your problem or opportunity to God.
Bring it from a place of gratitude.
God is good.
I don’t deserve this.
Result:
Philippians 4:7
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus
Success does not lead to gratitude, but gratitude is a key ingredient to true success.
Gratitude is not a personality trait. It is a developed habit.
1. Develop a rhythm of rejoicing with Jesus.
The Lord is near. Philippians 4:5
2. Pray regularly giving God your problems and receive his grace.
Get out of the enemy’s camp.

Further, my brothers and sisters, rejoice in the Lord! It is no trouble for me to write the same things to you again, and it is a safeguard for you. Watch out for those dogs, those evildoers, those mutilators of the flesh.
3. Adopt God’s scoreboard.
