Unfinished Generosity
Acts 20:32
Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
Acts 20:35b
‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’
Watch out for greed.
Idol = Any treasure that makes a false salvation promise.
Surrender to God’s grace and generosity will flow.
Grace - A relationship with Jesus where he gives way more than he receives.
Romans 5:20-21
The law was brought in so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more, so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 John 2:1-2
My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.
