The Marvel of Acceptance

Romans 14:1-4

Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters. One person’s faith allows them to eat anything, but another, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables. The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them. Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand.

Romans 15:5-6

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 15:7

Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.

  1. Admit and drop the contempt.

  2. Take off your royal robes and get out of the judge’s chair.

  3. Move from Master to fellow Servant.

  4. Whole heartedly accept him/her by grace, not by works.

Experience Oneness by accepting one another

Spiritually

Emotionally

Physically

Romans 13:13

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
