1 Samuel 17:10 – The Problem

For forty days the Philistine came forward every morning and evening and took his stand.

David said to the Philistine, “You come at me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.
As the Philistine moved closer to attack him, David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet him.
Three Principles
You are deceived when you think it is preferable to ask God to remove the problem rather than overcome it with God’s help.
You are deceived when you value the world’s resources over God’s resources.
You are never more “godly powerful” than when you think you are “worldly weak.”
