A life hack is simply an innovative and creative way or a resourceful way to deal with an everyday problem.
“Work Smarter, not Harder”
Followers of Jesus should learn to think resourcefully and creatively, as we navigate upstream anddownstream world.
God has given us the best “Life Hacks” throughout His Word. We call this “Wisdom.”
What is Biblical Wisdom? It’s godly wisdom; it’s both knowledge of the Truth and the discernment of how and when toapply it.
Trusting God more than yourself. And the main reasons to trust Him is based off of the 4 C’s:
Because He’s Conscious—because he knows everything about you.
Because He’s Concerned—1 Peter 5:7 says cast, your cares, anxieties and worries on Him becauseHe cares about you.
Because He’s Consistent—Jesus Christ the same yesterday today and forever.
Because He’s Capable—Ephesians 3:20 says “God is able to do exceeding, abundantly above allthat we could ask or think according to the power that He works in us.”
What does that Bible say about trust?
Proverbs 3:5-6 (NLT)
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he willshow you which path to take.
Mark 8:36
What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?
James 3:13 (ESV)
Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness ofwisdom.
Proverbs 4:5 (NIV)
Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or turn away from them.
Proverbs 4:7 (NIV)
The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.
The Path to Wisdom (or Life)
Proverbs 4:10-11 (NIV)
Listen, my son, accept what I say, and the years of your life will be many. I instruct you in the way of wisdomand lead you along straight paths.
Proverbs 4:12 (NKJV)
When you walk, your steps will not be hindered, And when you run, you will not stumble.
The Path to Destruction
Proverbs 4:14-19 (NIV)
Do not set foot on the path of the wicked or walk in the way of evildoers. Avoid it, do not travel on it; turn from it and go on your way. For they cannot rest until they do evil; they are robbed of sleep till they make someone stumble. They eatthe bread of wickedness and drink the wine of violence. The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day. But the way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know what makes them stumble.
James 3:15 (NIV)
Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic.
James 3:18 (NIV)
Peacemakers who show in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.
There are only two paths, just as Jesus described two ways...
One leading to destruction - Matthew 7:13
The other leading to life - Matthew 7:14
Matthew 7:13-14 (NIV)
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enterthrough it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
