Adulting: “to adult.”
As in: “I just signed a lease, bought a mattress, and paid off my credit card. Adulting is so hard.”
God creates everything to grow.
He intends it.
We are to walk in a worthy manner, to be humble, gentle and paIent, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unityof the Spirit in the bond of peace.
2 Peter 1:3 (ESV)
His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called usto his own glory and excellence.
Ephesians 4:11-16 (NIV)
So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
Jesus his mission was not just to die for us.
His mission was not just to die for us, but also to show us how to live.
Hebrews 5:11-12 (NIV)
About this we have much to say, and it is hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. For though by this Gmeyou ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the basic principles of the oracles of God. You need milk, not solid food.
