"Quality" Message & Notes

Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest.

How long will you lie there, you sluggard? When will you get up from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest— and poverty will come on you like a thief and scarcity like an armed man.

- Proverbs 6:6-9

As vinegar to the teeth and smoke to the eyes, so are sluggards to those who send them. - Proverbs 13:4

A sluggard’s appetite is never filled, but the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied. - Proverbs 15:19

The way of the sluggard is blocked with thorns, but the path of the upright is a highway. - Proverbs 19:24

A sluggard buries his hand in the dish; he will not even bring it back to his mouth! - Proverbs 20:4

Sluggards do not plow in season; so at harvest time they look but find nothing. - Proverbs 21:25

The craving of a sluggard will be the death of him, because his hands refuse to work. -Proverbs 22:13

A sluggard is wiser in his own eyes than seven people who answer discreetly.

"Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to curry their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters." - Colossians 3:22-24

Our work is effective when we:

  1. Bring passion to every job no matter how big or small.

  2. Bring your best to every job no matter how big or small.

Your Lord Loves You with all of His Heart.

You love worshiping your Lord with all your Heart.

Your Lord promises to pay for all of eternity.
